Red Kite Ramble
On Sunday 24th June The Clare Foundation, in cooperation with The Chiltern Society, is organising The Red Kite Ramble - a 5, 10 or 18 mile sponsored walk through the Chiltern's countryside starting and finishing at the Foundation's Saunderton site.
The safe and enjoyable routes will be marshaled by volunteers and Foundation staff. Upon arrival at the finish line, Ramble participants and volunteers will enjoy well earned refreshments provided by the Healthy Living Centre cafe.
The Red Kite Ramble provides walkers with the opportunity to raise funds for their chosen charities, with no registration fee all promised monies will be donated straight to the their charities. Every year hundreds of walkers, many joined by their children and faithful dogs, represent dozens of charities by completing the Red Kite Ramble.
Mike Elliott, the Foundation's Chief Executive said of last year's event,
"It was great to see the way local charities embraced and leveraged the fundraising opportunity we provided with the Red Kite Ramble. It was a great day out with a purpose, for families, young and old, the serious walkers and the strollers. It also gave us a chance to tell people what we do to help the charity sector in the Chilterns and the Thames Valley."

"Thank you to the Clare Foundation and the Chiltern Society for arranging such a fantastic route for last weekend. What a well organised event which has really helped us raise money for some vital equipment for our members"
